Baptism

Baptism is the beginning of our faith and our gateway into the Church. It is the first of three Sacraments of Initiation (Confirmation and Eucharist being the other two). Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word". (CCC 1213)

1st-time Parents looking to have their child baptized will need to attend the Baptism class held on the Second Tuesday of the month. Please call the office to sign up for the class. 332-6391

Eucharist

The Eucharist is one of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism and Confirmation being the other two). The Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. As Catholics, we truly believe the Eucharist is the source of the Christian life.

"This is my body which is given for you: do this in remembrance of me."

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

"Can you spend one hour in prayer with me?"

All parishioners are welcomed and encouraged to spend time in Jesus'presence whenever possible. Hundreds of parishioners and members of the surrounding community have made a commitment to pray in the chapel for a specific time each week. Adorers use this time to pray, to say the Rosary, to read, or simply reflect.

Call 605-332-6391 to sign up.

Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the last of the Sacraments of Initiation. Through this sacrament, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church as witnesses of Christ through word and deed.

"But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." - John 14:26

Reconciliation

Wednesday: 12:00 PM & 5:00 PM & Saturday: 2:45 - 3:15 PM

-Ephesians 1:7

ANOINTING of the sick

One of the seven sacraments, administered by a priest to a baptized person who begins to be in danger of death because of illness or old age, through prayer and the anointing of the body with the oil of the sick. The proper effects of the sacrament include a special grace of healing and comfort to the Christian who is suffering the infirmities of serious illness or old age, and the forgiving of the person's sins. (See CCC #'s 1499, 1520, 1523, 1526-1532)

Please call the parish office to arrange for the reception of this sacrament.

Holy Orders

The Sacrament of Apostolic Ministry by which the mission entrusted by Christ to His Apostles continues to be exercised in the Church through the laying on of hands. This sacrament has three distinct degrees or "orders": deacon, priest, and bishop. All three confer a permanent, sacramental character. (CCC 1536)

Matrimony

Marriage prep begins 6 months prior to the wedding. Call the parish office shortly after your engagement to schedule!
